At Last! iJeng Pro… New Hackintosh Prototype DONE!!!!

After a long waiting for some hardware bought on ebay and TigerDirect to arrive, lots of test, setups, tries…it is finally done!!!

The specifications have changed a lot since my last post. I over-clocked it, so it is way faster than before. Also the system disk is now an Intel SSD which makes the system runs considerably faster. I've changed one of the chassis fans -the side one- for a faster one. Just in case over-cloking affects the temperature more than expected. The Gigabyte motherboard really rocks!!! It is very smart for over-clocking matters. Also the Cooler Master chassis has impressed me. It is really 'cool' and silent and most of all, really easy and comfortable to work in.
I decided not to expend an extra penny on external hard drives so installed a 3.5" internal mobile rack (http://www.icydock.com/product/mb671sk-bb.html). It is sort of a drawer that lets you access your internal disk very quick. It is like a cassette player for the computer, but instead of tape, a hard drive. It lets you have a more organized workspace instead of a messy bunch of cables. Is a really practical and cool accessory.
